At Orange Coast College, we’re committed to providing the real-world skills you need to succeed, no matter what — it’s our commitment to you and each of our 20,000 students.

OCC’s expansive 164-acre campus, located in the heart of Orange County, features the latest modern technology. OCC’s first permanent structure was the Technology Building, built circa 1949, and today, the campus boasts nearly 100 state-of-the-art facilities, including our new Student Union, Aquatics Center, Professional Mariner Training Center, and Literature & Languages and Social & Behavioral Sciences building. Plus, Coast is the first community college in California to offer student housing. The Harbour, an 800-bed student housing facility, removes barriers to education by providing students with much-needed affordable housing. Over the next few years, the college will continue to invest millions of dollars in premier facilities for students, including a new chemistry building.

Students at OCC enjoy big-time amenities in a small college atmosphere. In addition to free tutoring, counseling, health and wellness services, and on-campus public safety, OCC offers programs to meet the needs of every student. We have resources for first-time college students, single parents, former foster youth/wards of the court, veterans, international students, and many more. Best of all, with appointments available both in-person and virtually, OCC offers flexibility, getting you the services you need when you need them.

OCC ranks among the top two-year colleges helping students transfer to the University of California and California State University systems. In addition to transfer degrees, the College offers Associate in Arts and Science degrees, Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT), CSU/GE and IGETC certifications, and certificates in various career programs. Moreover, OCC provides limitless opportunities in student government, student clubs, honors societies, and 20 athletics programs.
