The Pre-Physical Therapy certificate satisfies prerequisite coursework for most graduate-level programs in this field. The 20 unit certificate program offers students the opportunity to complete the required foundational sciences, social science, and statistics coursework. The certificate focuses on providing students who want to apply to a graduate-level Physical Therapy program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Program Level Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Name and identify the basic structures of the human body.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills involving constant acceleration equations and Newtons Laws.
- Diagram the phylogenetic relationships among the major animal phyla.
